Matthew Gochman was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 21, 1982. He moved to Jersey City, NJ when he was 9 years old, and that's where he spent most of his life. As a lifelong film buff, it was always his dream to work in films, whether it be as an actor, writer, or director. In high school, he made his acting debut in "You Can't Take it with You," playing the role of Ed Carmichael, at High Tech High School in North Bergen, NJ.He went on to earn a B.A. in Media Arts from New Jersey City University, intending to focus more on working behind the camera than in front of it.At age 29, the acting bug bit him again when he landed the lead role of Sam in his local theater production of "Mr. 80%." From that point on, he went on to act in tons of plays in the tri-state area.Over time, he also landed speaking roles in the film "Vengence" (directed by the acclaimed Keren Cytter) and on the Investigation Discovery programs "I'd Kill for You" and "Dead of Night."He also got cast in a lead role in the film " That's Life," directed by Sean Guess.
