Matthew Géczy is an American born movie and television actor, voice actor, and animation voice director based in Paris, France. After having grown up all over the United States as an Army brat, he moved to Paris when he was 18. In 1985 landed one of the leading roles in a television mini-series entitled, "Grand Hotel" produced by French broadcaster, TF1. Over the years, Matthew Géczy has acted in several films for television and cinema and even had the opportunity to work in front of the camera with acclaimed directors such as Brian de Palma, Thomas Vinterberg, and Arnaud Desplechin. But it is in recording studios that he works the most, especially in the field of animation, not only as a voice actor but also as a voice director and English adaptation dialogue writer. Matthew Géczy is a man of many voices. He is most known for lending his voice to not only the funny and eccentric Odd Della Robbia for the hit animated television series, "Code Lyoko" but also as the all time classic animated character, Casper, The Friendly Ghost, in "Casper's Scare School". His voice director credits are numerous , including the BBC's 2008 Children's BAFTA nominated animated televisions series, "Eliot Kid", "Mouk" on Disney Jr UK, "The New Adventures of Lassie" produced by DreamWorks Classics, and Season 2 of "Casper's Scare School" broadcast worldwide including Cartoon Network USA.
