His personal preference, regarding characters leans toward the Neo-noir genre. Matt began acting at age 10 in local theater productions, in his birth place of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He went on to Central Catholic High School where he starred in stage productions of their drama program, which has hosted multiple famous alumni in the world of film and television.
