Mary was born near Cleveland, Ohio to a Hungarian Mother and Irish Father. Mary began her dance training at age 2, performing for the first time at age 3. She later went on to solo in a lyrical jazz company, and train with the Cleveland Ballet. After graduating Cum Laude with Honors from Ohio State University, Mary worked as a model and commercial actress in Miami. She moved to Los Angeles and studied intensive improv at Upright Citizen's Brigade and The Next Stage Theatre, while studying at Playhouse West, the Australian School of Dramatic Arts (AIDA) in Hollywood. She is a member of the Reel Pros Co-Op in Sherman Oaks.Mary's breakout role was in the award-winning film 'Parched' as a broken woman in the wild west who takes matters into her own hands. The film won top prize at the Los Angeles-based Action on Film International Festival. She played leading roles in a number of independent films including 'Abby 33', 'Antisocial Behavior', and 'Salvage Dream.' She then decided to tell her own story in the short film 'Getting Lemons.' As writer, producer, and star of the dramedy, Mary won Best Actress at AOF International Festival, was nominated for Best Female Filmmaker and the film was nominated for Best Musical at the same festival. 'Lemons' was also an Official Selection at a total of 5 major film fests, and screened for the Oscars Short Film Competition.Most recently Boylan worked on the feature film 'Juveniles', alongside Stephen Moyer, Kevin Alejandro, Beau Knapp, Martin Henderson, and Kathleen Rose Perkins. Her most recent feature, 'Love Is All You Need?' has screened at Cannes, along with being the Official Selection of 18 other major film fests, and winning several awards. Show less «
