Mary C. Russell is a genre female film director, originally from the Bay Area but grew up a little differently then the average American girl. Moving to Singapore at eight years old as an expat. Currently now located in Los Angeles two years out of Columbia College Hollywood graduating in 2014 with a BFA majoring in directing. Mary directed, wrote, and produced a horror slasher short film, "Carved," last year that was screened at the NewFilmmakers LA film festival in 2015.
