Martin Schöndorfer was born in Villach, Austria, on April 4, 1990. His mother Silvia (née Kolb) is a former teacher and his father Josef Schoendorfer is a store manager. He has three older siblings, two brothers and a sister. Schöndorfer's interest in the stage goes back to his early childhood both in the fields of acting and music. After a school performance he started to take acting classes and at the age of 17 he decided to pursue a career in acting. He landed a lead role in the independent feature film 3te Chronik in Germany. After high school and a year in the military he moved to New York to study acting. He graduated from the famous Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and has since worked on numerous productions, among them the World War 2 drama Moschaisk which has gained over 4 Million views on YouTube, the award winning short film Blind Date and the independent feature film Digital Physics. In 2016 Schoendorfer made the transition from the US back to Europe due to professional reasons. Recently he portrayed Schütze Kowalski, a supporting role on the successful Youtube Series Verstaubt sind die Gesichter (Engl: Dusty Faces) and Moritz, the lead role in the film Die Lebende Herberge (Engl: The Living Hostel) for the EU & Me project.
