Martin "Hugh" Henley is a New Zealand-born English actor, film producer, casting coach and voice actor. He lives in Warsaw, Poland with his 2 cats, Flea and Rabbit. In 2009, after completing his film studies in London, Henley emigrated to Poland where he secured a position as a film producer. During his time there, Henley wrote, produced and directed the featurette "In Light" (purchased by Sony Pictures Classics, USA) and had key roles in the HBO Europe documentaries, "One Billion Happy People" and "Ethiopiques: A Revolt of the Soul". He also worked with such industry alumni as twice Oscar-nominated Polish director Agnieszka Holland and her countryman, veteran director, Krzysztof Lang, Hollywood producer Dean Zanuck, and the star of Oscar-nominated "Cold War" and the 2018 European Film Academy Actress of the Year, Joanna Kulig.Henley formed a close working relationship and friendship with Kulig, assisting her for some years in her casting preparation and role development. It was Kulig who encouraged Henley's own acting talent, urging him to move from off-camera to on-camera where he soon won roles in several high-profile TV commercials. Following this success, Henley appeared in two of Poland's prime-time serials before landing his first feature film role appearing alongside James Norton in Agnieszka Holland's "Mr. Jones" which debuted at Berlin's 2019 Berlinale Film Festival.
