Marlies Bauer Bell was born in Austria, leaving for greater horizons at the age of 15 to perform on stages all over Europe. Street smartness and wisdom beyond her years is the result of growing up embedded in a demanding theatre and music environment. Her favorite show was Andrew Lloyd Webber's masterpiece Evita, in which she performed with the Londoner West End Cast. Comedy and an incredible sense of humor is the trademark she's been known for which landed her the lead role in Oxygen's Comedy My Crazy Love.Marlies Bauer Bell loves and lives for the adrenalin of a live audience and she has just finished a phenomenal run of Bill Manhoff's "The Owl & The Pussycat" which played in Los Angeles. Bitter lemons said "Marlies B.Bell is an art piece all in herself". The powerhouse performance was announced as a recommended Fringe Show in the UK. Marlies received her BFA in Musical Theatre at the Stage School Hamburg and graduated from the 3 year Conservatory Program at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.Ever since studying the Method she has been focusing on channeling her sparkling electrifying energy to a tiny screen and is currently taking classes at UCB Los Angeles and with Lesly Kahn.Marlies has won several European Championships and Austrian Championships in Dance. She has also received 2 Future Talent Awards for Dancing and Musical Theatre.
