Mark was born and raised in Oklahoma, then traveled across the U.S. for many years, as a stand up comedian. After tiring of the road, he settled in Michigan, and began doing local theater. From there he expanded into television and radio commercials (both on camera and as voice talent), audio books, industrial videos, and dozens of Michigan-based movies, both short and feature length. His first major theatrical release was as "Ronny" in "Whip It" directed by Drew Barrymore, where he received hug from Drew, and a punch in the arm, for doing an exceptionally good job... at least that's what she said it was for...Boyd was most recently seen in the premiere episode of "12 Monkeys" on the Syfy Network, as "Wilson." He looks forward to the theatrical release of "A Girl Like Her" in March 2015, one of his favorite and most rewarding dramatic roles. Show less «
