Marisa Paige Butler (born January 10, 1994) is an American singer, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Maine USA 2016 and represented Maine at the Miss USA 2016 (2016) pageant was held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 5, 2016 but unplaced. In 2018, she was crowned as the winner of Miss World America 2018 and will represent United States at Miss World 2018 (2018) in Sanya, China.Butler raised in Standish, Maine. She is the daughter of small business owners Walter and Debra Butler. Marisa graduated high school in 2012 with over a 4.0 GPA. Marisa graduated cum laude from Stonehill College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Business. Marisa is not only an accomplished student, but athlete as well being a three sport collegiate athlete, having been on Stonehill College's soccer, lacrosse and cheering teams. Marisa is an avid angler, and has received international attention for her shark tagging efforts with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association. Marisa loves to travel and has been to over ten countries and hopes to double that number within the coming years. In the spring of 2015 Marisa studied abroad at the prestigious Kings College London. While living in London she was afforded the opportunity to walk in a London Fashion Week event for Lagunta De Fancy.Butler began her pageantry career representing Standish and was crowned as the winner Miss Maine USA 2016 succeeding outgoing Miss Maine USA 2015 Heather Marie Elwell. She represented Maine at Miss USA 2016 pageant that was held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 5, 2016 where she failed to place among the Top 15 semifinalists. The pageant was won by Deshauna Barber of District of Columbia as Miss USA 2016. On 19 September 2018, Butler was crowned as Miss World America 2018 by Miss World America 2017 and Miss World 2017 Top 40 semifinalist Clarissa Bowers. As Miss World America, Butler represented the United States at Miss World 2018 pageant in Sanya, China, where she placed in the Top 30. In 2021, Butler was crowned Miss Earth USA by the USA's first Miss Earth, Lindsey Coffey, and was crowned Miss Earth-Air in November. Show less «
