Born and raised in Sweden, Marie met a Canadian ski bum in a Swiss ski resort while working as a Ski Guide. They moved together to Northern Ontario where she felt right at home because the landscape looked like her home country. Marie enjoys the outdoor lifestyle which Sudbury offers, like cross country skiing, canoeing, etc. In addition to her freelance work with charities and Sudbury Living Magazine, Northern Ontario's booming film industry has allowed her to continue her love for acting and performing. In the past few years she has worked on a number of TV and film productions, including the critically acclaimed Hard Rock Medical (TV Ontario drama series) and Hallmark's popular Christmas at Cartwright's. Most recently Marie played the role of a mobster wife opposite Canadian TV star Enrico Colantonio in an upcoming TV series about organized crime in Montreal. Show less «
