Marie is a journalist and on air talent based out of Georgia. She obtained a Bachelor's of Arts in Journalism: Broadcast News from Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. She was a member of DiGamma Kappa (UGA's broadcasting society), Student Merchandising Association, Delta Psi Omega and served as a Grady College Student Ambassador.While at UGA, Marie served as a reporter and producer for Newsource 15, a student run news show. She was also a news intern at WALB-TV in Albany, GA and was the host of Fox 31's 'Foxlight on Buisness'.Marie also interned with the nationally syndicated morning talk show "The Rick and Bubba Show". Marie was intern "That Girl", appearing in segments and advertisements during the live show on Turner South and on radio.Marie has many years of pageant experience having competed in the Miss America and Miss USA systems. Marie won numerous swimsuit preliminary awards while competing in Miss Georgia America preliminary pageants. Most recently, Marie represented South West Georgia in the Miss Georgia USA pageant.
