Marcy was born in Havana, Cuba and from the age of four was raised in Washington, D.C. and later in Maryland. She is fluent in both English and 'neutral' Spanish. Her major was in Psychology, but decidedly found Metaphysics far superior in her quest to the fundamental 'why' and 'how' of things... questions she had entertained since childhood, and which brought her many years later to write her first book, "Your Electric Self" (the interface between spirit, mind, emotions and body). At the same time, the theatre called, where her fulfillment came during her performances in musical comedy and drama in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia. After moving to New York and performing off-Broadway in two shows, she was a vocalist at "Jilly's Nightclub" and "The Village Gate". One of her highlight memories was being selected as one of three finalists for the lead in Broadway's "Hair", before she opted out considering the nude scene. Two years later, she married and moved to Las Vegas, where she performed at the Silver Slipper, and hosted two television programs. There, she did numerous television and radio commercials and voice-overs as well as hosted national conventions for many years representing Matsushita (Panasonic). She now lives in Hollywood, Fl., where she has appeared on several hispanic telenovelas, has been interviewed dozens of times on local and international tv shows, appeared in films, commercials and infomercials, and offers metaphysical workshops.
