Marc Sylvan has forged an outstanding reputation as a music and sound designer and is in high demand for television, commercials, film and video game projects. His unique blend of music with sound design and great sensitivity to pictorial images has placed him in particular demand as a composer for animated graphics and title sequences. Marc's television credits embrace a wide range of programming and his title themes feature on fashion, sport and music shows as well as documentaries and channel idents. Recent television work includes the prime-time ITV Saturday night shows Total Wipeout, The Kids Are All Right, the dramatic sci-fi themed children's show Hot Rods (BBC2) and the hugely successful The Million Pound Drop for Channel 4.Film and animation credits include the sci-fi short Embryo (winner of 'Best Sound Design' at the Vision 2004 Festival), which led to collaborations with Beavis And Butthead animator James Dean Conklin and Shrek senior animator Lee Lanier. Marc's commercial credits include adverts for Sega Rally, Honda, The Sun, Rolls Royce, Yamaha and the Saleen S7 Supercar. In 2004 Marc began to collaborate with award-winning video game composer Richard Jacques. The pair have since worked together on many major game releases including The Club (PS3), Sega Superstars Tennis (Wii), Pursuit Force (PSP), Virtua Tennis 2009 (XBOX 360) and the EyeToy series for the PS2.Other new areas of work include multimedia and web content. Multimedia credits include Adobe's After-Effects series and Epiphany Software's Bible Explorer 3. Marc has also provided website music and sound design for clients such as First Direct, Endemol Gaming, British Heart Foundation, Red Bull and the Monaco super-club Amber Lounge.Building upon his success over the past few years, 2013 has begun with an incredible buzz in the industry regarding Marc's ability to deliver the perfect score for any production, with producers and directors returning to work with him on several new productions.
