Manuel Robert Roybal was born on July 2nd 1947, and raised in Denver Colorado. He attended public schools through high school, the joined the military for three year during the Vietnam era, and served in Vietnam. After his honorable discharge from his military obligation, he worked for the Postal Service for twenty five years. He retired and continued pursuing a stage acting career he had begun while working for the Post Office. He married his first wife Theresa, in 1968. He has five children by that marriage, Antoinette, Kathy, Anthony, Manuel junior, and Thomas. His first wife passed on in 1995. He met his current wife Joan J. Roybal six years later in 2001. She has three children from a previous marriage, Jacquie, Loren, and April. Total combined children and grand children from both marriages, eight children and over 30 grandchildren, and at least three great grandchildren. Manuel has performed with El Centro Su Teatro (Denver, Colo) for twenty six years, plays the guitar, has played with numerous bands, and has appeared in independent films, as well as commercials, and voice over work. Manuel resides in Albuquerque New Mexico with his wife Joan. Show less «
