Manuel Mairhofer, born in Innsbruck, studied acting at the Fritz-Kirchhoff-Schule "Der Kreis" in Berlin and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. He also studied German philology, philosophy and art history at the University of Innsbruck and Vienna as well as at the FU Berlin.He had his first contract at Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck for the opera "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg" by Richard Wagner, directed by Andreas Baumann. He played the role of "Leonce" in Georg Büchner's "Leonce und Lena", "Peer Gynt" at Philhamonie Luxembourg or Friedrich Schillers' "Die Räuber".Next to his theater work, Manuel Mairhofer is featured in numerous national and international cinema and television productions.He won the Lüdia and Heinz-Badewitz-Preis for the movie Freddy Eddy (2016) and "Best Romantic Comedy" at the Los Angeles Film Awards (2019) for the Joyn-Original-Series Singles' Diaries.Mairhofer was a swimmer in the Austrian youth national team.
