Manolis Mavromatakis was born in Athens in 1962 and works as an actor in theater, cinema, and television, since 1991. He has worked with several of the largest Greek theater stages and organizations as well as with many important Greek and foreign theater and film directors, musicians, poets, and orchestras, thus starring in over 70 theatrical and musical performances and in over 30 feature and short films. Except for the film awards he was honored also with the "Karolos Koun 2007 - Best Actor" award, for his performance in the theatrical show: Daphnis and Chloe, Pleasure-trip, and in the 2014 Olympia International Film Festival, for his high ethical standards and diligence with which he serves the art of Theatre and Cinema.
