Maddie Pottinger is an Australian actor who began acting on the stage and has a wide range of work in theatre, screen, the big screen, on stage, and as a professional model. She started training at age 14 at the National Acting School in Canberra ACT, on a part time basis, whilst performing in film and theatre throughout Canberra. Her first major professional production was a Charles Sturt Dentistry TVC by Silversun Productions, where she was referred to more consistent and paid work, within the Canberra Region. Madeleine soon moved to Sydney in 2010 and studied full time at Sydney Theatre School gaining her Perofmance in Theatre Diploma, as well as being taught by talented actors and directors such as Luke Rogers, Malcolm Frawley and Jerome Pride. Whilst studying at Sydney Theatre School, she also undertook the American Accent Course at the Actors Centre Australia, and Acting for Screen at NIDA. In 2010 Madeleine had performed in the Award Winning Fringe Festival theatrical performance of "This Mortal Coil" Directed by Mark Matthews. Which got her noticed around the Sydney Theatre Scene. In 2011 Madeleine Moved further study into Film and Television at Screenwise Showreel Course with directors such as Denise Roberts, Dan Krige, Vincent Partiff, Gary Sweet, Martin Dingle-Wall, Di Smith, Janice Mcgavin and many more. In this year she also undertook study for Acting for Screen at Actors Centre Australia. With persistence and devotion to her craft, Madeleine landed herself in many more TVC's, Webseries, Short films and Theatrical Productions such as Not Suitable for Children, ADR for Underbelly Razor, You in Yeti, Red Cross TVC and many more. Since Graduating Madeleine has landed roles in Beyond Productions TV show "Behind Mansion Walls" Channel 9 "underbelly badness" and three web series "Special Ingredient, How to get Laid and Amnesia" She continuously works on Voice training with Bill Pepper and Stage combat with Kyle Rowlands, and is taking regular classes for "Acting for Screen" at On Camera Connections. Recently she gained her Shakespeare credits studying at Central School of Speach and Drama and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, where she performed in various locations for burlesque and was in the theatrical production of "Faustus"
