Maddox is the New York Times best-selling author of "The Alphabet Of Manliness" and infrequent blogger on his personal web site. Maddox was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah where after droppping out of college he resigned himself to a lowly career as a programmer for a telemarketing firm. In 1997 he started his personal blog taking a satirical look at his pet hates which soon blossomed into one of the most popular humor sites on the Internet.
