Maddisen was born in Connecticut to NYC-born parents Ann & Edward Wicks. Her mother Ann attended The Julliard School of Music where she trained as an Opera singer, performing for many years as a Soprano soloist in New York City and Connecticut. Father Edward, a Cellist, Inventor of the Wicks LifeLine, and Luthier, is best known for the work he performed on the famed Gibson Stradivarius, now owned by Joshua Bell.Maddisen began her training in violin and viola at a very early age, performing in the Danbury Little Symphony and Danbury Community Orchestra. She began her acting studies under the mentor-ship of John Peros (Over the Counter Theatre, NYC), and continues to enjoy her work in theatre, TV, and film on both the East and West Coasts. She is writer and performer in the long running hit stage show "Inside Private Lives", which premiered Off-Broadway in '07 and which is returning to LA in the Fall of '08.Maddisen has her undergraduate degree in English Literature/Writing, and a Masters Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. In her free time, Maddisen works as a Life Coach, and travels between two residences in Los Angeles and Boston. Show less «
