Mackenzie Coffman was born in Ohio. She is of Scottish, English, German and French ancestry. One of her direct ancestors came over on the Mayflower.Mackenzie's first introduction to performing and the stage was at the age of 4. She began tap and American Clog and by the age of 5 was competing on both the state and national levels in solo and group categories.She developed a love for social media and maintains a very active Twitter and Instagram account. She began creating and producing her own You Tube videos (kenziekid97), which have over 2.4 million views. She loves music, dance, and comedic roles.In 2011 she began modeling and acting school. In 2013 Mackenzie went to IMTA in New York City with the Southwest Model and Talent Agency for training in acting and film and competitions. She placed first runner up in monologue.The IMTA experience fueled her desire to obtain more training and instruction in acting. She has continued her acting instruction, increased her knowledge of the industry, and trained with some of the best acting and dialect coaches in AZ and LA. She has attended several casting workshops in LA and Phoenix.In 2014 she filmed a role in a video produced by Scottsdale Community College Film School, her first commercial for Primavera Online High School, a supporting role in the independent feature film "Dual on the Mound", and a lead role in the TV Pilot "Tradecraft Blues".In 2015 she filmed her second commercial and print ad campaign for Primavera Online High School and filmed a supporting role in a short film produced by the Arizona State University Film School called "Shadow School".In 2015 she filmed the lead role of Ice in an independent feature film called "The Rejects", which was shot in Atlanta, GA.In 2016, she filmed the lead role of Dominique in an independent feature science fiction film called "That's Not My Mother"; the lead role of Claire in an independent short film titled "Left With the Right Emotion" by New Angle Media/Studios; and a commercial and print ad campaign for DormRoomMovers.
