Lynn was born in Irvine and grew up in East Kilbride. She has an older sister. Lynn graduated from the BA Acting programme at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (formally known as RSAMD) in 2011. She is known for playing one of the witches in Macbeth (2015) and for the comedy short film Cupidity (2011).
