Champion javelin thrower Luise Kruger was born on January 11, 1915 in Dresden, Germany. Kruger won a bronze medal in the women's javelin throw for her native country at the 1934 Women's World Games in London, England. Luise went on to win a silver medal in the same exact event at the 1936 Olympic games in Berlin, Germany. Kruger died at age 86 on June 13, 2001 in Dresden, Germany. Show less «
