Born Lucas Finnian McHugh Carroll, in Chicago Illinois as one of the youngest of five children including twin, Leo (Noah (2014), Fred Claus (2007)) older brothers, Vincent and Xavier, and only sister Tori. Lucas has grown up across the lake from Chicago on the southwest shores of Michigan. Lucas has been pursuing acting since his older siblings were cast in a Yoga Kids video and he eagerly watched the filming. At four Lucas met with an agent and when she asked if he wanted to be in commercials he answered, "I am going to be in movies!" She agreed and became his agent that day.Since then Lucas has enjoyed acting in theater, commercials, voice overs and film. In 2007 Lucas was cast as Matt Damon's son in The Informant! (2009) directed by Steven Soderbergh. Upon meeting Luke, Matt Damon concurred, "you really do look like my son!" Lucas has had leading roles in many community theater productions. His favorites have been, Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet and Benjamin in Joseph. He has done voice narration for children's videos and worked in student films at Northwestern University. In 2013 Lucas played a refugee in Noah (2014).Besides acting Luke actively participates in many sports including soccer, cross country, sailing, skiing and is captain of his school chess team. At eleven he was chosen to travel for a month to Costa Rica as a U.S. delegate with 48 children from around the world for a peace organization, Children's International Summer Village.Lucas attends a Montessori Elementary school founded by his mother and aunt where he is strong student.
