Retired French-Canadian professional wrestler who competed in Canada, Europe, Japan and the U.S. Debuted in 1982. Competed under the names "The Masked Marvel" and "The Mercenary." Wrestled under the name Rambo for years all over the world. Arrived in the U.S. as Sniper of the Truth Commission in 1997, a team with a gimmick of a South African white supremacist military unit, based on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. The Truth Commission (the Interrogator (Robert Maillet), Recon (Barry Buchanan), Sniper and manager the Commandant (Robin Smith)) arrived in WWE as heels. After the Jackyl (Don Callis) replaced the Commandant as manager, the group evolved into more of a commando cult. After the Jackyl and Kurrgan (the former Interrogator) broke away from the Truth Commission, Recon and Sniper started wrestling under their own last names as the team Armageddon before leaving WWE. Poirier competed until he retired in 1999. He is a 4x CWA (Catch Wrestling Association in Austria/Germany) World Heavyweight Champion as Rambo and was inducted into the European Wrestling Hall of Fame. Show less «
