Louis is a native of Oakland California and began his training in Theater at Skyline Performing Arts High School under the Direction of Amy Brosanhan in "Take it from the top", a production written by Actress/Playwright: Ruby Dee; He was featured in "Oliver", "Blues for Mister Charlie", and "West Side Story".... Louis is a native of Oakland California and began his training in Theater at Skyline Performing Arts High School under the Direction of Amy Brosanhan in "Take it from the top", a production written by Actress/Playwright: Ruby Dee; He was featured in "Oliver", "Blues for Mister Charlie", and "West Side Story".Louis would later continue his acting in Theater Arts with the Tuskegee Little Theatre (Tuskegee University) in such plays as "An Actors Nightmare", "The Colored Museum", and "Aint Misbehavin'". Later after returning to the Bay Area, Louis was featured with The African-American Shakespeare Company of San Francisco in "A School for Scandal" as Sir Benjamin Backbite/Trip. With the Laney College Theater, he was featured in "Antigone", "Death of a Salesman", and "No Place to be somebody".Louis has also worked with The National Black Theater of New York, New York in "Marion Anderson: Lady from Philadelphia", and with Debbie Allen in "The Hot Chocolate Nutcracker"After signing with Beau Bonneau Casting, he continued his career in Acting to include Television/Commercial and Film.Louis other performing credits include: Dance and Vocal Music; Louis' dance training began at the age of 7 with San Francisco Ballet Under the direction of Helgi Tomasson and Nancy Johnson, and also the Alice Arts Center in Ballet, Haitian and Dunham Dance Technique with Oakland Ballet as the resident Company. Louis is a graduate of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theaters' "The Ailey School"with a Certificate In Dance and Dance Education. Louis is an alumni of Ailey II, Genesis Dance Company, and Contemporary Ballet Theater (Bronx , NY.), and has Guest Performed with NUBA Dance Theatre, DZUL Dance, Juxtapower South African Dance Company, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet Under the direction of Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson.Louis has performed Background vocals for Tichina Arnold with 'Know Pressure', The Clark Sisters, Bobby Mcferrin and Voicestra, The late Bishop Walter Hawkins, Yolanda Adams, Kim Burrell,The International Mass Choir of The Church's of God In Christ: Under the Direction of the Late Mattie Moss Clark, and for President Bill Clinton for the 1994 National Prayer Breakfast: Under the Direction Of Stephen L. Hayes.Louis is Continuing his Acting Career while teaching Modern Dance in Horton and Graham technique and Choreography At Debbie Allen Dance Academy, and For AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts.
