Rosen graduated from the University of Southern California in 1981. While still studying at USC, he interned with the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Kings in 1980-81. Upon graduating, he worked as Director of Promotions for the Forum and the Lakers from 1981 to 1987. While still working at the Forum, he began working as Magic Johnson's personal agent starting in 1985. Rosen also started his own company, First Team Marketing; his first clients were Magic Johnson and Jerry West.In 2004, Rosen was hired as executive VP and chief marketing officer for the Los Angeles Dodgers. While in these positions, he made the decision to fire long-time sportscaster Ross Porter. After leaving the Dodgers in 2006, Rosen worked for Lagardère Group until late 2010, while also concentrating on business development and marketing for Magic Johnson Enterprises.In 2010, Rosen returned to the Los Angeles Dodgers, overseeing marketing, sales, advertising, communications, community affairs, and government relations. During his tenure, he assisted the Guggenheim Partners in acquiring the Dodgers on May 1, 2012, the largest team sports transaction in history. Show less «
