Lisa VanAmburg, born in the Philippines and moved to Valdosta, Georgia where she was raised at a young age due to her father being in the military. Growing up Lisa had a love for acting. She watched shows such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Who's the Boss, Growing Pains, and many more. The variety of amazing actors inspired Lisa to pursue her acting career. It was not easy for Lisa to pursue acting due to her Husband who served in the Air Force. His job required them to relocate several times. Lisa put her husband and children first, by supporting her husband's career and staying home to raise their two children. When stationed in Utah, when her children were still very young, Lisa got her first extra position in "Touched by an Angel." This ensured her of her love of acting. Again, due to moving and young children, it was not always easy. Instead she traveled Europe with her family when they were stationed overseas, and when returning to the United States where her Husband retired in Florida, Lisa pursued cosmetology school since she had a love for beauty. Opportunities arose when she started doing hair and make-up for different films. Lisa took acting classes with her mentor Gary Grubbs. To this day, Lisa has been in several films, and is taking acting classes to better herself in her acting career. Show less «
