Lisa Norton is a Canadian stage, screen and voice actor. She graduated from George Brown Theatre School in Toronto.She has appeared in theatres across Canada, including The Arts Club (Vancouver), Citadel Theatre (Edmonton), Theatre Calgary, Manitoba Theatre Centre, The Globe (Regina), Theatre Aquarius, and the Thousand Islands Playhouse; on tour throughout the U.S. with Roseneath Theatre; and at home in Toronto, at The Canadian Stage Company, Mirvish Productions, Tarragon Theatre, Theatre Columbus, Factory Theatre, and Theatre Passe Muraille, among others. Lisa premiered new work at the Blyth Festival for three seasons, and was a member of the esteemed Shaw Festival acting company, where she performed in eleven shows over five years, and where she was chosen by Artistic Director Emeritus Christopher Newton as the recipient of a Toronto Arts Protégé Honour.More recently, Lisa has turned her talents to voice work, where she has been heard as Cynthia in The Mysteries of Alfred Hedgehog (Muse/TVO), as Evelyn in Willa's Wild Life (Nelvana/YTV), and as numerous characters in the Nickelodeon series Rocket Monkeys, as well as various other cartoons, commercials and radio dramas.On television, Lisa has recently appeared in Reign (The CW), Magic Beyond Words: The JK Rowling Story for the Lifetime Movie Network, Fringe (Warner Bros./Fox), Rookie Blue (Global/ABC), and as the famous anarchist Emma Goldman in The Murdoch Mysteries (Shaftesbury Films). Other appearances include the Movie Central series Living In Your Car and Degrassi. She was featured as Edith McCallum in the WWII series Bomb Girls, on Global Television.
