Lisa Marie Peranio grew up in a small town, Reserve, Louisiana. She is the oldest of five siblings, having two sisters and two brothers. Lisa's love for performing began in early childhood as she had a natural talent in dance. She is a former American All-Star Dancer who performed for various events, such as Superbowl XXIII in Miami, Florida. She also grew up competing in pageants which led her to modeling opportunities which she continues to do for local photographers today. Lisa has two grown children, a daughter and son, and resides with her husband in Saint Amant, Louisiana. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University and has worked in the corporate world for over 20 years. After working in B2B sales, she decided to pursue her dream of acting after being featured in the music video "Rainy Days" by Forever October in January, 2018. Her first experience in a music video was in Farewell to Fear's "Diamonds" in 2013. Lisa's latest credit was the role of "Jodi" in the short film "The Vanishing", which won two awards for the New Orleans 48-hour film project in 2018. She began acting training in April of that same year. She has taken classes taught by Nicole Barre-Breaux, Billy Slaughter, Rachel Groves, and Jim Gleason. She has studied and continues her training in scene work, character analysis, improvisation, monologues, commercials, interview, audition techniques and advanced scene work.Lisa loves spending time with her family and enjoys traveling, boating, photography, fashion, costume design, makeup art, and interior decorating. She is most excited and grateful to be able to finally pursue her passion and begin a career in the entertainment industry which is something she has always dreamed of since early childhood.
