Lisa Hackett is an actor from Victoria, British Columbia in Canada. She performed in numerous theatre productions throughout her childhood and teen years before she got involved with film and television upon moving to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her first professional film acting experience was on CBC's Mr. D and has since been growing quickly as a performer and creator. Lisa is a full time student pursuing a degree in sciences in addition to acting whenever the opportunity presents itself. She hopes to maintain her two passions for medicine and acting; perhaps as a creator of a medical drama or performer in the next Patch Adams or Mindy Project. She has performed in mainstream and indie productions and enjoys building long-lasting creative relationships with other folks involved in these projects. Aside from film work, Lisa is also an avid improvisor. She got her start early through Improv Camp - an immersive improv training experience for youth aged 14-18 - and as a player in the Canadian Improv Games high school tournament where she was captain of her team for three years culminating in a third place finish at the national tournament in Ottawa. She has coached, trained, and refereed for the Canadian Improv Games Nova Scotia tournament and has also performed in multiple improv shows in Halifax including That Improv Show and the Bus Stop Theatre with Brian MacQuarrie, Make 'Em Ups Improv Co., and Hello City.
