Lindsay Noelle Windal LaVanchy was born in St. Louis, Missouri. Her father is a manufacturer's representative, and her mother works in the admissions office of her childhood school. She has an older sister and a younger brother. She attended a private Christian Science boarding school, and grew up spending her summers in the Ozarks of Lebanon, MO riding horses, canoeing down rivers, spelunking, archery, arts n crafts, and camping. Her first performance role at the age of 7 was meant for a boy, but she was the most enthusiastic so they gave it to her. She auditioned locally in St. Louis, while participating in Drama programs in LA during the summers. She performed at The Muny Opera of St. Louis- the largest outdoor amphitheater in N. America- at the age of 11, as well as school plays. She was studying tap, jazz, ballet, modern, and hip hop dance, as well as her drama classes, and night art classes. She loves to play sports and was the captain of many of her sports teams in high school, as well as class president.She eventually went on to study theatre at UCLA: Theatre, Film, and Television school, and had roles in University productions, as well as commercials and short films. In 2010, she journeyed to study theater, voice, sound, and movement with world renowned teachers in Berlin, Germany, as well as Stromboli, Italy.Since 2011, she primarily lives in Los Angeles working as an actor in tv, film, commercials, and plays. In early 2013 she reunited with long term friend and director John Berardo to shoot The Labyrinth produced by James Franco with Jason Ritter making a guest appearance. In 2014, she shot a Pilot starring Danny Pudi (from "Community") called "The Tyler Zone". Directed by Keith Schofield, it is in development by FOX and the producing team The Lonely Island headed by Andy Samberg. With that same director, she also shot a music video for the hit UK band "Bastille". She then shot a commercial/short film for Giorgio Armani, which was picked to premiere at The Toronto Film Festival in the summer of 2014. She has also begun writing a sci-fi/coming of age feature film, and draws inspiration for it from Carl Sagan's "Contact" and M.Night Shyamalan's "The Sixth Sense."
