A native of Limerick, Liam has had a varied acting career which began working and touring extensively with the city's Island Theatre Company. His TV debut at age 15 as a suicidal teenager in the RTE/BBC drama 'Edward No Hands', was a precursor to a career on stage playing roles as diverse as Cary Grant to Billy Bibbitt to Bianca in 'Taming of the Shrew'. It was while playing Owen in the Manchester Library Theatre's production of 'Translations' that he got the opportunity to audition for ITV's long running drama 'Emmerdale'. He played the part of village curate Ethan Blake for 2 years before returning to the stage recently for a production of 'The Glass Menagerie'. An accomplished voice over artist he plays many and varied characters in several animated series produced by Magma Films and the BBC. As a singer he has performed in many jazz cabarets - most recently with the Emmerdale Cast in a Big Band Charity Concert at The Sands Venue in Gainsborough. Show less «
