Levi Joel Patton was born Sept 26, 2001 in Shreveport, LA where his father Steve Patton was stationed with the US Air Force. Born into a family involved in fine arts and theater, Levi always enjoyed dressing up in costumes and pretending. His parents were both from southern California, and his mom, Sherry Patton, majored in theater and taught school drama classes. Levi was initially the youngest of 4 children and first performed in Missoula Children's Theater summer camp and dinner theater production at 5 yrs old along with his 3 older siblings. Levi stepped on his first movie set in 2008 as a background extra on a SAG film with his family. Catching the eye of the director's he was "bumped" up to Actor, gaining him his SAG Eligible status. He quickly became the set crew's little buddy, as they sat him in the director's chair and camera trolley. It was on this film set that Levi worked closely with Jack Black, and the whole experience was a positive memory that later propelled his desire to pursue film acting. He did extra work on a few other movies in 2008 - 09. Levi took drama and music classes throughout lower elementary school, performing in class plays every year. When his dad retired from active duty military the summer of 2011 and moved the family to Texas, Levi joined the community theater program and performed on stage in front of hundreds for the first time. After a few community theater plays he asked about film acting classes, but there were none in the city they were living at the time. However, after adopting his two special needs brothers from China, the family moved to Weatherford, TX in 2013 where they found Weatherford Film & Acting (WACT) Academy. It was there that Levi flourished under the coaching of Twila Barnett. He continued do drama in school and had lead roles in his early teen years. He also performed walk through live theater for Tammy Lane Productions in Peaster, TX. But Levi gave up theater to pursue acting in film and TV after signing with talent agent Linda McAlister in March of 2016. He spent his high school years studying his craft and educating himself in many areas of the film industry. Being homeschooled gave him the flexibility to work and train in the industry. In addition to auditions, short films, commercials and industrials, Levi did some writing which lead to his first film festival in Dallas, TX. Then in 2018 he landed a supporting role in his first TV show, an episode of Murder Made Me Famous. Levi also began assistant teaching/directing at WACT Academy under his manager Twila Barnett. Then Levi was accepted to the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, and after graduating high school moved to LA to study there. He'll graduate Jan 2021 with an AFA degree in Acting for Film. In addition to many student films while at NYFA, he made the Dean's List every semester and began Voice Acting, which he quite enjoys.
