Leo Montiel was born in Sylmar, California, to Cuban parents Gricell and Ed Gomez. It was not long before Leo found out his passion for film. At the age of five, He knew he wanted to pursue acting. Since the age of seven, he has been involved in drama and theater classes gaining over 10 years of acting experience, and has been cast as the lead in 4 out of 6 plays including Grease, and A Christmas Carol. In 2006 Leo moved back to Los Angeles from his second hometown of Miami, Florida to pursue his dreams of acting on film. Leo was mentored and taught by award winning acting coach the late Ruben Moreno, for 4 years straight- up until his death in 2011. Leo has gone on to star on three episodes of Americas Most Wanted on the FOX network. He was cast in a showcase for the WGA Latino scene hosted by NBC Universal, In which he competed against fellow Cuban and veteran actor Emiliano Diaz of the George Lopez show. Show less «
