In 2021, Making his screen debut in the role of 'STEVIE' is musician Leo Long who has performed with the London Youth Folk Ensemble and National Open Youth Orchestra. Being neurodiverse, Leo has experienced and succeeded in overcoming many challenges and is determined to make the music & film industries more people-friendly for disabled musicians & actors.Production is now underway in London for debut feature director Eddie Sternberg's I Used to be Famous for NetflixLeo is a passionate folk musician who enjoys composing and playing pieces on bodhran and banjo. He has performed with London Youth Folk Ensemble, National Open Youth Orchestra, National Orchestra For All and Up Orchestra across the UK at The Royal Conservatoires, prestigious concert halls, arenas and outdoor festivals too. In 2020 Leo was commissioned by Barbican Guildhall Creative Learning as a "Barbican Young Creative" to contribute to a digital project called "Subject to Change - New Horizons" which reflects on the uncertain times brought about by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Despite having been diagnosed with a speech and language disorder as well as autistic spectrum disorder, by highlighting and demonstrating his unique creative capabilities he is determined to further his studies and his objective is to work within the performing arts industry while also helping make the industry more disabled people-friendly and an easier place to work for other disabled musicians & actors.
