Len Deming is in his second incarnation as an actor. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to Lansing, Michigan when he was six years old. He attended Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Lansing from the 2nd through 12th grade.Trained as a lawyer in Michigan at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan (1978-1981), he graduated with Honor earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Michigan State University in 1977, where he also took acting classes.He took up acting again in 2002 and has been a recipient of the New Hampshire Theatre Award for Best Actor three times (The Good Doctor, 2004; The Dining Room, 2007; and All My Sons, 2009). He was also recognized for acting achievement as Best Supporting Actor three times at the American Community Theatre Festivals in New Hampshire and New England in 2007, 2011 and 2012.He has done a number of short films plus two feature films, the independent Blackwater Farm and another independent feature currently (2015) in post-production, Spin The Plate.Mr. Deming is also on Honorably Discharged veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having left service as a Sergeant, and remains a skilled sharpshooter.
