Born in Osan City, Korea, Leilani is the daughter of native Ok Cho Kim and Claude Sr. With prejudices high against "1/2 black" kids residing in the country, Leilani still charmed and melted the hearts of the most toughest Korean store merchants to put everything and anything on her "parent's tab."For her spirit she studies martial arts at Rifkin Pro Karate, training is based in traditional Tae Kwon Do with Aikido and Jujitsu self defense techniques. On Sept. 15th, 2007 she obtained her 1st degree black belt by displaying her 75 self defense techniques called out of order, executed 10 forms, one of which she had to design, performed free knife attack techniques on 2 black belt men at the same time, broke 3 one inch boards with a blindfolded jumping back kick, sparred full contact first individually then 3 black belt men at once, in a 2 1/2 hour test. At the Battle of LA, she placed 1st in forms beating out 4 men and 1st in her division of women's sparring. She took 1st place in forms and 1st place in sparring beating out 2 black belt females at the L.A. Sheriff's cup. In 2008 she placed 1st in the SMA Long Beach Internationals continuous sparring division. Now teaching as well as assisting at the dojo, she has set her sights on competing professionally in a martial arts league. She has taken up Muay Thai, grappling and Arjunkenpo at the House of Champions. For her dreams, she has trained 2 years in advanced scene study with Bennet Guillory of the Robey Theatre, and studied over a year in Ivana Chubback's Master Class.She was the sexy, contortionist in "The Player's Club" and on "The Parkers." A scene opposite Ving Rhames in "The Don King Story" and shot "Straight out of Compton 2" in Maine as a Mocha Girl, a bodyguard with fight sequences. She was Nicole in the award winning short "Gabrielle" and played Kat, a member of the group 3X's Luscious that will do anything including breaking in to homes to perform for P. Miller in the family comedy "Uncle P" out on DVD. Was also the co-host in a pilot called "Lounge Act" for mind spring productions. She was also quoted and pictured in the magazine article "Madame Mentors" featured in "Inside Kung Fu" September 2006. Show less «
