Australian born Chinese Lee Chan's appreciation for food started at a young age. Her cooking skills developed 10 years ago during a stint as a vegetarian, which forced her into the kitchen to recreate old favorites without meat.In 2010 Lee Chan and her house-mate at the time entered themselves into Channel Seven's hit reality cooking show My Kitchen Rules and finished as runner ups. They missed the title by four points. Consequentially Lee is now a resident, gourmet reporter for Coxy's Big Break, a Victorian travel and lifestyle show, working with celebrity chefs and promoting the state's best.As a presenter/MC, Lee was involved with The Moomba Parade, Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, Spring Fashion Week and Spring Racing Carnival in 2012. Her latest ventures include commercials for Docklands Waterfront, reporting live from the Good Friday Appeal Qantas Mystery Flight and as Master of Ceremonies for the Annual Baklava Bake-off Finals
