A native of Washington D.C., Laurine Price was born in Florida and moved around while growing up as a military brat. She sang and played the piano since childhood, and was introduced to musical theater during high school. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, emphasizing Management Information Systems, at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. After graduating, she relocated to Minneapolis, Minnesota to work as a Project Manager in I/T as well as following her real passion at the time - musical theater. Studying private voice at MacPhail School for Music and delving into musical theater performance techniques with the Wesley Balk Music Theatre Institute, Laurine was involved in over 25 musical theater productions - to include leading roles in shows with Jennifer Holliday and coaching/direction from David Henry Hwang. She was announced as the "Best New Performing Artist on Stage" in 2004 by the Minneapolis Star Tribune for her work in both "Pacific Overtures" (Theater Mu & Park Square) and "HAiR" (Hennepin Stages Theater). Laurine was also hired for numerous commercials (Best Buy, Target, Select Comfort, Qwest, to name a few...) and industrials. As for her "day-job", Laurine spent almost a year in Holland, and continued her love for living in Europe by relocating to London for her post-graduate training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Now Laurine has packed her suitcase and settled in Los Angeles to pursue full-time work in film, television, commercial, theater, and modeling.
