Began her creative life in a house dress, running around her Jersey hood as a child dressed up like her 85 year old grandmother. After successfully faking out the neighbors, she quickly turned her attention to performing and has been working as an actress, writer and comedienne ever since. As an actress she has toured the country in roles ranging from Marianne in Tartuffe, to Billie Dawn in Born Yesterday. As a comedienne, she has been featured at The Broadway Comedy Club, Caroline's and Gotham Comedy Club. She is the author of two plays, Oh Christmas Tree - A Holiday Nightmare and The Ballad of Salvatore Salustio. The Ballad was a semi-finalist at 2010 O'Neill Conference and a finalist at the 2011 Fulton Theatre's New Play Contest. She is the author of two screenplays, Broke and The Ballad of Salvatore Salustio. Laura studied acting with William Esper and the late Milton Katselas. Laura is the author of two pilots, Welcome to Oakland and The Glamorous Life. Show less «
