For someone who didn't realise they could sing until the age of 16, Singer, Songwriter & Fashion Designer, Laura Jeanne, has achieved a huge amount in a short space of time. Having taught herself to play the Guitar & Piano, songwriting naturally followed, and since then Laura has performed at some of London's most prestigious venues, already had songs published by EMI, received critical acclaim from some of our most popular celebrities as well as industry chiefs, appeared as on US TV Show, 'The Big Time' on ABC and released 2 Singles, 'Coincidence', and 'Dream, Believe Achieve' which was sponsored by Budweiser. Laura has recently been chosen for BBC Introducing and her Debut Single, 'Coincidence' went straight into Napster's Hot 5 Featured Artists & New Releases alongside Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga. The Music Video for 'Coincidence' has been aired throughout the UK on Music Channels, and in High-Street Shops, Malls and Gyms.On a trip to Scotland, inspired by the majesty of her surroundings Laura discovered a passion for poetry which soon led to songwriting. It was around the same time that Laura was teaching herself to play the guitar and piano, and having learnt Suzuki Violin from the age of 4, it seemed like a natural step for Laura to take, as her musical curiosity grew.Laura Jeanne's unique sound has already caught the attention of an army of online fans including Grammy & Emmy Award Winning Producer, Narada Michael Walden, Singer/Songwriter Chesney Hawkes, and BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music DJ, Bob Harris. Laura went on to prove to be a natural success on stage performing live at some of London's trendiest nightspots including The Hard Rock Cafe, The Troubadour, Cafe De Paris, Chinawhite, The Bedford & Regal Room, as well as performing at home of The Beatles, The Cavern in Liverpool.It hasn't all been music for Laura though. A Fashion Degree from Hertfordshire University gave Laura the chance to develop skills that have led to her designing and making all the outfits she currently wears on stage and in her music videos. This has enabled her to create her truly unique signature style- a strong yet feminine mix of military mixed with romantic styles.The need to fund her journey in the music business has also seen Laura Jeanne appear as an Extra & Actor in many major Films and TV Shows, including Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and Downton Abbey Series 2.
