Latia Ebanks is an African American Actress, Dancer, and Model. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York to a Jamaican single mother. She began working professionally over 6 years after graduating high school. Now, she is best known for her role as Lisa in "A Cops and Robbers Story" directed by Ilinca Calugareanu and produced by Mara Adinaand, which airs in 2020. She is also known for her role as Fiona the engineer in the online commercial Spacial Lens. Produced by Racheal Morgan.Latia graduated from the New York Film Academy in New York City and was trained by the Emmy Award-winning American Actress Blanche Baker and the Emmy Award American Television Producer Micheal D. Laibson. She is trained in Acting For Film, Theatre, Television, Combat In Film, Meisner, and Improvisation. Latia was also trained by Ben Harney who is best known for his Tony Award for the lead role in the musical Dream Girls. Latia also graduated from Buffalo State University's dance program with a Bachelors of Arts in Art and Literature, she also obtained and a Minor in Business Studies.Latia has toured around New York City with the prestigious Young DanceMakers Company. She performed at the Alvin Ailey Theatre, with choreography by Robert Battle. She trained at the Mark Morris Dance Center and has also trained at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Latia is trained in modern, contemporary styled dance, and is able to portray a variety of dance styles such as Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, and African styled dance.
