Larry Thompson Jr. was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. His mother, Rualetta Thompson, is retired from Perryville, Arkansas, and his father, Larry Thompson Sr. is Grass Valley, California and is retired as well. Larry was raised in Guy, Arkansas and attended Guy-Perkins High School where he played basketball. After High School, he enlisted in the Air Force, serving for 12 years as a Security Forces Member before commissioning as an Officer in the Air Force and working in Space and Missile Warning for an additional 4 years and counting in the Reserves.Larry attended West Texas A&M where he earned his M.B.A. He has owned a Trampoline Park in Cornelius, North Carolina has operated a State Farm Office in Concord, NC.
