Lance graduated from the Ohio State University with a BFA in Theatre and remains a rabid college football fan. He also studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and has appeared in over forty plays across the United States. During his first stint in New York he toured with the National Shakespeare Company and did several plays in Manhattan before getting his SAG card in Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987). The next year he moved to Los Angeles, where he reprised his role on Star Trek, and acted in plays and student films. In 1993 he wrote, produced and starred in the short film "Thinking Too Much" directed by Paul Hughen. In 1994, he married Mary Talley, which he claims is "the best thing to happen to me in L.A., or anywhere, for that matter". In 1995, they moved to New Orleans, where he worked on TV series, feature films, and commercial work, while still doing live theater, which he loves. On May 25, 2000, their son Ellis Ian was born. In 2002, it was back to NYC, where he was in _"The Cookout" (2004)_ with Queen Latifah, and also more theater, including performances in the famous New York Fringe Festival and the Avram Goldfaden International Theatre Festival in Romania. Lance has recently returned to the Los Angeles area, after a stint in Honolulu, and is still active in acting. Show less «
