Kysionia Daye was born in Charlotte, North Carolina but raised in a small town of Durham, NC with her mother. Much of her inspiration and admiration to pursue a career in the arts is due enjoying the essence of performing. Kysionia also gained the interest of dance from her uncle, Otis Daye (former Alvin Ailey Dancer), and pursued studies in ballet, jazz, modern, and hip-hop dance during much of her childhood into her adult years. As an aspiring entertainer since the age of 5, Kysionia's passion for acting in front of the camera soon led her to express the pursuit of the performing arts as well as modeling. She studied acting and performing at North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, and New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, CA; also additional acting workshops with Actress Tasha Smith and Erica Hart of ABC Primetime in Washington DC, where she relocated and progressed in other acting opportunities. Her experience spans from TV, Film, Stage, Print Modeling, and Performing Arts and Dance. Kysionia's new passion in addition to the others, resides in writing feature and short films. She was cast in her first Television Appearance with BET, for show "Criminals At Work" (2016), playing the role of Donna Crogan and TV One "For My Man" (2017), playing a Detective and Fiancè role. Kysionia is currently working on several TV/Feature Film projects in the Atlanta area, as well as writing feature/short films.
