Henson, Vanessa Williams, Halle Berry, Oprah Winfrey, Angela Bassett, Nia Long, Alfre Woodard, Whoopi Goldberg, Queen Latifah, Nicole Parker and Tisha Campbell. She has been credited for her many talents, it could be jumping from a moving vehicle, driving a stunt car at high speeds, or falling from the top of a ferris wheel, or just a fight scene, this is a lady to see in action, and she will always get the job done.A native born in Boston Massachusetts and relocated to Los Angeles as a child. Kym has a long list of film and television credits. Her films include The Other Guys, Gothica, Asunder, The Forgotten, Live Free Die Hard,Invasion, Wild Hogs,Vampire In Brooklyn,Rat Race,Ladder 49,Taxi,and Kings Ransom. Her television work include,666 Park Avenue, Person of Interest,Nurse Jackie,The Traveler,The Wire,Third Watch,The District,The Corner and the ongoing TV series, "Law and Order SVU" just to name a few.Kym is second generation as they call it in "Hollywood" Her father, Richard A.Washington made quite a name for himself as one of Hollywoods top stuntmen and stunt coordinators. Well known for that ultimate seen in "Earthquake" doubling Richard Roundtree on a motorcycle, or in The Deep, doubling Lou Gossett under water. Kym has been a inspiration to African American stunt women in the business today. She helped to open the doors for many women, along the side of Jadie Davis who she commends for guidance. Kym has received numerous awards such as the "Diamond in the Raw Award", A Lifetime of Achievements Award, She has been Recognized for her Outstanding contributions to the Community as wells as to the Film Industry. She is featured in a documentary, "Hollywood At Its Best" which profiles African American Stuntwomen. She has appeared on many Community Talk shows such as City Line, The Susan Warnick Show, WFMD Radio and Plum TV to name a few.Kym is one of the true pioneers in the business today still working. As a veteran stunt professional of 36 years, Kym has mentored many young women who want to become the next top Hollywood stunt women. When not working she enjoys sharing her knowledge by visiting schools and speaking at seminars about her accomplishments as a Stunt women and what it takes to become the next Hollywood stunt women.
