Kyle Sauer was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska. While growing up, he was always fascinated with the arts. He did everything from drawing and painting to music and photography. During high school, Kyle took almost every art class offered. Of all his classes, photography was his favorite. It became a new way for him to see and view the world. After graduating from high school, Kyle decided to leave his home in Alaska and attend Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles.While in college Kyle studied Cinema and Broadcasting Arts with his emphasis in Narrative Cinema. During school, he made several student films and spec commercials. During this time, he realized his passion lay with commercial and music video directing. After graduating from college, he spent his summer working as a freelance photographer. He also worked part time for Aerofilm, a commercial production company in Santa Monica, California.Kyle has worked on many national commercial spots including Dodge Ram, GMC/Buick, Fruit of The Loom, GEICO, Fiat, Verizon, Fidelity, Cisco, AMICA, Nissan, Carl's Jr. and National Geographic Channel. Over the last few years, Kyle has traveled to Mexico, Colombia, Switzerland, Israel, Turkey, Greece, and Italy photographing new and interesting subjects.
