Krystal Monique Harris was born and raised in various parts of Northern California and abroad. Living in the urban Bay Area, to a ranch style home on eighteen acres of rural Nevada County, to the suburban lifestyle in Sacramento, to "an maogmang lugar"- the happy place- in the Philippine Islands, Harris was exposed to many different types of people, lifestyles, and cultures. She discovered a love for real people, their lives and their stories. At an early age, she began dancing and studied with two prestigious dance companies in Sacramento. In 2006 she relocated Southern California to continue her training and pursue a degree in dance from California State University, Los Angeles. In 2007 she suffered an injury that temporarily hindered her dance training and forced her to withdraw from the dance program. She changed her major to English with a focus on Creative Writing. Most recently, she has worked alongside Michael Ealy in the Screen Gems feature, About Last Night. She is represented by Abrams Artists, (Theatrical) Media Artists Group (Literary) and MTA (Dance), and works closely with her manager Kim Matuka of Schuller Talent to further her enterprising goal of sharing her creative vision through the medium of film and television.
