Kristen Springer was born in Coeur D' Alene, ID, but spent most of her childhood and formative years in the wild woods of Montana. There, she discovered her knack for the performing arts when the traveling troupe from Missoula Children's Theater cast her in her first play, Beauty Lou and The Country Beast. In the ensuing years, Kristen would seek out and participate in as many performance opportunities as there were to be had in her conservative small town.In 2002, Kristen moved to Missoula to attend the University of Montana for Drama. While in attendance there, she played Jenny in Neil Labute's The Shape of Things and Catherine in David Auburn's Proof. During her final year, she went on the road with Montana Repertory Theater's production of A Trip to Bountiful and found herself achieving a childhood dream when she was hired to perform for Montana Shakespeare in the Parks.Since that time, Kristen found herself working as a live costume character for various national tours, playing characters for original works that landed her on the Guthrie Stage in Minneapolis, and finally making the move to Los Angeles to make her mark in film, in 2010.She has since created her film company, Passionate Apathy Entertainment with her partner and finished multiple short films, the internet series This Show Right Here, and most recently produced and starred in PAE's first feature length film, Angel's Bounty.
